The Art of Tricking Yourself, Using Your Weakness to Your Advantage – Episode 31

It made me so happy to see that a blog post I’d written about a decade ago actually aligns with a lot of the messaging I share on my podcast now. So I turned it into an episode.

The Feel Good Factor. Episode 31. Susmitha smiling at the camera. Arms folded in front of her. Leaning against a pillar. The Art of Tricking Yourself, Using Your Weakness to Your Advantage.

A recent conversation with a friend about how we take advantage of our weakness and turn it into strength reminded me about this blog post. I’d written it over a decade ago. It’s all about how I would push my laziness to its limit. And come out of the other end to stop procrastinating and get household chores done.

It made me so happy to see that something I’d written so long ago actually aligns with a lot of the messaging I share on my podcast now. I had to read it out to you all! In this episode I talk about.

  • Loving and accepting ourselves for who we are
  • Rewarding ourselves
  • Celebrating even the smallest of achievements
  • How I turn weakness into strength
  • And so much more

It’s kind of funny that a large part of this episode is about dealing with procrastination, because it’s being published a day later than usual due to… surprise surprise… my procrastination! Hehe I hope you get a good laugh out of this episode. I totally did.

If you’re enjoying The Feel Good Factor

I’d appreciate a rating, review and subscribtion on your preferred podcast listening platform. Especially on Apple Podcasts or Podchaser. It would mean a lot to me. And it’ll help others who resonate with this kind of content find it easily. Thank you for the love!

“Usually the tendency is to not even acknowledge, or not even be aware of, what our weaknesses are. It takes a bit of a different kind of thinking to not only be very aware of exactly what our weaknesses are, or exactly when we’re having a weak moment, but going further, and using that weakness or that moment, to our own benefit.”
