Meditation to Fall Asleep in a Healing Cocoon of Light – Episode 188

A gentle guided visualisation. Wrap yourself in a healing cocoon of light energy that protects and rejuvenates you. This sleep meditation is best done in bed at night. But even in the middle of the day, if you want to have an afternoon nap, you can do it then too.

Fall Asleep in a Healing Cocoon of Light: Sleep Meditation Script

Sit comfortably on your bed. Close your eyes. If you like, you can put a blanket over yourself or over your legs. Just make yourself very comfortable.

Take a deep breath in, and breathe out slowly and completely.

Take another deep breath in. As you breathe in, you’re breathing in calmness and relaxation, bringing yourself into the present. Hold it for a moment. And then breathe out completely.

As you breathe out, let go of any thoughts, any discomfort, anything at all that’s happened through the day. Just let it all go. You don’t need any of that with you right now.

Feel your entire body relaxing more and more. Let’s take one more last deep breath. Breathe in deeply, hold, and exhale completely.

Now allow your breath to become normal, natural. Don’t try to control it.

Picture a golden, shining thread of light in front of you.

It’s spinning outwards from your heart, getting longer and longer. Watch it as it gently winds itself first around your legs, your toes, your feet. It’s warm and safe and absolutely comforting. Let the thread get longer and longer, and watch it spin itself around your entire legs, your knees, your thighs.

Now your abdomen. Round and round this golden thread of light is wrapping you up. Layer by layer. Layer by layer. Going higher and higher. Wrapping your torso, your entire back. Round and round your chest.

And now winding down both sides of your arms, your palms, right up to the tips of every single finger.

Now watch as the thread of light continues to move upwards, wrapping your shoulders. Gently, gently, softly going around your neck.

As it reaches upward, you can hear its magical sparkling sound. You feel absolutely safe.

Higher and higher. It’s wrapping around your entire head. The back of your head, your forehead, your nose, your eyes, your face.

It has completely wrapped you in its healing magical cocoon. Just a cocoon of light you don’t see the strands of the thread any more. It’s sparkling, glowing soft golden light. You’re completely surrounded in it.

Sit here for a few moments and feel its healing power.

You’re safe to fall asleep deeply.

You can slowly slide down and lie down. Make yourself very comfortable. Feel yourself sinking into your bed, the support of your bed.

And as you relax more and more, grounding into your bed, feel the glow getting stronger, brighter, bigger, and expanding out to cover the entire bed.

The big golden cocoon of light has slowly spread outwards and your entire bed is safely ensconced in this cocoon.

If there’s someone else in the bed with you, a loved one, they also benefit from this healing cocoon of light.

Invite higher energies – gods, gurus, guides, guardian angels, whoever you want – to support and energise this cocoon of light so as you sleep deeply, happily and comfortably, you are healed at a cellular, atomic level.

You’re completely healed and rejuvenated through your sleep. Being cleansed of any unwanted energy, patterns, thoughts, feelings. All that’s not required getting cleansed away, transmuted and transformed into only uplifting high-vibe energy that heals you energises you.

Thank the cocoon for being here.

Trust that it’ll be here all night and fall asleep comfortably. Have a good, happy sleep.
